Stipulation and Exercise of Convertibility Options by Financial Institutions

Options by Financial Institutions U K Srivastava Nikhil M Oza The all-India financial institutions began stipulating the convertibility clause in 1970-71. The option to convert loans into equity was supposed to be exercised by these institutions two or three years after the implementation of the project. Most of these institutions are thus in the process of exercising this option at present.
