In addition, the State Electricity Boards were also allowed substantial rebate on every ton of metal purchased by them. Un fortunately the State Electricity Boards have not lived up to the expectations. Thereby the aluminium industry along with the other industries which depend on Aluminium as their raw material suffered very greatly. There is therefore no more justification of continuing the dual pricing policy. We hope a favourable and just decision will be taken soon in this respect.
