Dr C Rangarajan (CR) belongs to this tradition of combining the traits of a great teacher, an astute policymaker, and a prodigious researcher. In terms of coverage, this book is primarily devoted to the second aspect of his life as a policymaker and a statesman. The chronicle, admittedly, spans CRs stints in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and beyond.
