Select Macroeconomic Indicators of the Indian Economy

The statistical tables in this section cover various aspects of the Indian economy and have been culled from the EPW Research Foundation’s online database India Times Series. These tables cover National Income, Output, Prices, Government Finances, Money, Banking, Insurance, Financial Markets and Balance of Payments.

Key national accounts aggregates and gross domestic product (GDP) by industry have been presented at both current and constant prices for the 2004–05 price series, for the period 1950–51 to 2013–14. Data pertaining to expenditure components of GDP, and savings and capital formation have been provided. In addition, the national accounts aggregates available in the new series 2011–12 prices have also been presented.
