I strongly condemn the acts of some of the Hindutva organisations, particularly the Vishva Hindu Parishad regarding the conversion ceremony in Aligarh.

Such acts, on the face of it, may look like ones protecting Hinduism, but are only politically motivated to spread Hindutva over the entire nation. These acts advocate an "anti-other religion" agenda rather than a "pro-Hindu" one. If one is pro-Hindu, then why not convert people from the lower caste to the upper caste of the same religion and make available the social privileges that uppercaste people enjoy?
