AAP in Punjab

Unlike in other parts of India, the Aam Aadmi Party did well in Punjab in the 2014 general elections, winning four seats. The party's success was mainly in the Malwa region of the state, which has for long had a lengthy list of grievances and a history of neglect by the powers that be.
