Biased View

The article “Understanding a Murder Attempt” by M A Moid (EPW, 21 May) was biased. It first suggests that the Muslims of Hyderabad are fighting among themselves. It then talks about Mohammed Pahelwan grabbing lands but does not mention similar activities by the O waisis and the Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (MIM). It also does not mention that Pahelwan provided the manpower for the MIM until the last elections and that it was only when he opposed the Owaisis that he b ecame an enemy for the latter.
