Maharashtra: Child Malnutrition

Child Malnutrition Since 1993, the media has been publishing stories of the high incidence of malnutrition and malnutrition-related deaths from some of the backward districts of Maharashtra. This problem is quite widespread in 15 districts (with a large population of tribals) that are spread across the northern and eastern borders of the state. Now a resident of Amravati has filed an affidavit in court on continuing child malnutrition in the Melghat and Dharni talukas of the district.
