Securitisation Act

The Securitisation Act, 2002, from its promulgation to enactment, has stirred up an acrimonious debate over its validity, desirability and equity. Although the apex court has now put its stamp on it, what emerges from the judgment and various observations made by the court are a bunch of new legal and practical issues.
