Please permit me to state that criticism of AM for his Calcutta Diary published in your issue of March 4 is mostly subjective. This write up is not about an individual but a class, about the society to which Dharma Kumar belongs. I can think of no other writing in recent years which has brought into sharp relief the ignominy of this class more effectively.
