On the Go BANGALORE-BASED Motor Industries Company (MICO) of the Bosch group performed well during the year ended December 31, 1997. While the company's net sales and value of production were higher by 17.5 per cent and 17.1 per cent, respectively, its operating profit improved by 22.4 per cent over the previous year, 1996. Though interest charges fell by 15.1 percent, depreciation surged up by 29.8 per cent. The company posted a 31.8 per cent increase in its bottomline after providing for a 0.8 per cent higher tax provision.
