Socio-Epidemiological Inquiry Madhukar Pai Anand Zachariah Winsley Rose Samuel Satyajit Santosh Verghese Abraham Joseph Migration malaria is an important epidemiological sub-type of malaria. It impacts on every other type of malaria as human migration is an important factor in malaria transmission. Through this case study of an outbreak of malaria in a migrant group in Vellore district, the epidemiological, social and human problems of migration malaria are examined.
