Srikrishna Commission OVER a month has passed since the Srikrishna Commission of Inquiry into the Bombay riots of December 1992 and January 1993 was abruptly withdrawn by the Maharashtra government. While the state government continues to maintain its silence and stand by its decision, and the centre and the judiciary appear to be equally passive, the fate of those waiting for justice from the commission's findings hangs in the balance.
