Capacity expansion is on the anvil to 4 million pieces, to be raised to 5 million pieces. Titan is also establishing capacity for manufacture of 1.5 million table-clocks per annum and plans to launch 550 new watch models and over 50 models of clocks. In the next two years Rs 81 crorc will be spent on capacity expansion and indigenisation, Rs 48 on infrastructural support, Rs 15 crore on investment in subsidiary units and Rs 6 crore on the table-clock unit.
