Death Sentence on Peasant Activists THE Peoples Union for Democratic Rights (PUDR) notes with concern the Patna High Court order on December 7 upholding the death sentence on eight peasants from Aurangabad district in Bihar. The death sentence was awarded by the sessions court at Aurangabad in the case registered after 42 people were killed by the Maoist Communist Centre at Dalelchak-Bhagora villages in 1987.
