Beware of Bureaucratic Doras

Kancha Ilaiah The staff associations of the central government employees have submitted a memorandum to the Fifth Pay Commission suggesting revised pay scales and other benefits for lAS, IPS and other government officers. The proposed salary structure indicates a conspiracy by the bureaucrats to squeeze the state's resources in order to indulge in western-style conspicuous consumption, even while the masses become increasingly impoverished.
