Distortion

Distortion LET me invite attention to the paper, 'India's Educational Efforts: Rhetoric and Reality' by P Radhakrishnan and R Akila (November 27, 1993). The writers have quoted the observation of B Russell, "The Roman Catholic Church holds that a priest can turn a piece of bread into the Body and Blood of Christ by talking Latin to it..!' These words indicate the malice of the English 'sage', of course, an avowed agnostic This person found pleasure in offending Christians, especially, Catholics. These believe that their priest who assumes leadership in offering Holy Mass prays invoking the words of Jesus at the time of the Last Supper for the transformation of the host and wine in the chalice into the Body and Blood of Christ. It is amazing that the so-called philosopher has indulged in distortion.
