Anti-Arrack Movement IT is surprising that reports on the anti- arrack movement in Andhra in EPW (November 7,14 and 28,1992) by three columnists lllaiah, Balagopal and Shatrugna evaded the striking event in the history of Nellore district anti-arrack movement led by rural womenfolk. Though they have not missed it deliberately, they seem to have depended entirely on bourgeois press reports in this regard.
