during the first half of the current year due to delay in supply of machineries. The company's power services division, which undertakes contracts of electrical and mechanical installations and operation and maintenance assignments of power plants, now plans to enter the field of project management and monitoring. This division showed a 29 per cent higher profitability during the year and is implementing a number of high-value electrical contracts and operation and maintenance assignments. It has also signed a MOU with Gujarat Torrent Energy Corporation (in which Siemens AG proposes to invest Rs 60 crore) for project management of its 615 MW project being implemented al Gandhar. The company is also studying the feasibility of installing additional 100 MW generating capacity at Sabarmati subject to linkage of coal.
