A Micro Level Analysis Syed Ajmal Pasha This article based on investigations in 14 villages of Karnataka attempts to assess the extent of access the rural poor have to Common Properly Resources (CPRs) in the past as well as currently, and the impact of developmental programmes through CPRs on the poor. To what extent do these programmes improve the access of the poor to CPRs? How far have the rural poor been involved in the regeneration of CPRs?
