dian women working as house-maids is the highest, almost 40 per cent, among foreign workers engaged as such; second, the re- hiring of these women for return to Kuwait has been quite brisk since the end of the Iraqi occupation; and third, reports appearing in the media, Indian as well as foreign, of maltreatment of Indian house-maids in Kuwait have been on the increase. Indeed, concern has been voiced in parliament on this score.
