Indo-CIS Trade Relations INDIA'S exports to what was formerly the Soviet Union are reported to have declined by 50 per cent. There is a slump in the domestic prices of tea, rubber and spices because Soviet purchases have come to a virtual stop. On the import side also things are no better. Supplies of military hardware, including spares, apart, there has been a sharp decline in our import of crude oil as well as various petroleum products.
