(4,455 in the previous year), turnover registered a growth of 18.7 per cent. Gross profits went up by 87.3 per cent while the profits after tax more than doubled. Higher levels of indigenisation, timely action for protection against exchange rate fluctuations and price revision to cover cost increases were among the factors responsible for the improved working. The company was able to wipe off all accumulated losses.
