Forging Ahead

Exports of oilseeds and related products (excluding castor oil which is treated as a chemicals item) during the fiscal 1990-91 were valued at Rs 799 crore against Rs 847.9 crore in the previous year. Exports during the first five months of the current year (April-August) are provisionally placed at Rs 254.44 crore against Rs 260.45 crore in the same period last year.
