Flood of Contradictions IN an earlier letter (EPW, September 18) I had shown that the data on Operation Flood (OF) provided by Tushaar Shah (EPW August 25), did not justify the claims made for its success. P C Bhardan in a letter (EPW, December 22) gives different data and then claims that my calculations and deductions were incorrect. But Bhardan's figures, too, lead to similar conclusions.
