Calcutta Diary

AM Everybody is unhappy in Calcutta, the rich as well as the poor; none is very confident about its future. Besides, the monotony of the long wait for Apocalypse is enervating. The tercentenary celebrations, just over, were thus a jolly good diversion for nearly everybody.
