Certainly China and Nepal have established closer commercial links of late Currently under completion are 37 con- struction contracts with the Chinese being handled by four corporations. And in the absence of oil supplies from India, Nepal has just concluded a deal for oil from China, But none of this is sufficient reason for India to bring up the security issue in this context.
