Achin Vanaik Rejecting any characterisation of India as a 'multinational'state or entity, the author argues that India is very much a nation-state which in the classical Marxist sense has solved the 'National Question'. What confronts the bourgeoisie and the class-state of India is the problem of nation-building or national integration.
