The trends in the value of production and value added by manufacture per worker as well as those in the share of workers' wages in the value of production and value added by manufacture also contradict (he notion that workers in manufacturing industry are appropriating a disproportionately large share of the wealth created by organised industry or that labour productivity has remained stagnant.
