Plight of Jodhpur Detenus IN order to see the conditions in which the Jodhpur detenus have been detained in the Jodhpur Central Jail, we visited the place on February 27 and three of us, being lawyers, had long interviews with about 30 of the detenus, in three batches. Some of us have interviewed the detenus on other occasions also. We have gone through the charge-sheets, filed by the police against the detenus in order to understand the allegations made against them and to ascertain the strength of the prosecution case.
