Prices of steel plates (5 mm to 10 mm) have been raised from Rs 5,230 to Rs 6,140 per tonne, of tested rails (52 kg) from Rs 5,650 to Rs 6,780 per tonne, of billets from Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,200 per tonne, of wire rods (5.5 mm to 12 mm) from Rs 4,900 to Rs 5,150 per tonne, of HR coils (above 3.15 mm to below 5 mm) from Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,030 per tonne and of CR sheets (thinner than I mm) from Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,400 a tonne. Similarly, prices of GC sheets (thinner than 1 mm to 0.6 mm) have been raised from Rs 7,850 to Rs 8,950 per tonne.
