Anti-People Development Case of Inchampalli Project (By a Special Correspondent) THE Central Indian forest region has been in the news recently not only for the increased activity of various Marxist-Leninist groups but also for the 'developmental' activity being undertaken by the Central and state governments there. One such project is the Inchampalli multi-purpose dam project which concerns the Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh governments. This project has evoked considerable opposition in Maharashtra since it is the southern and eastern portions of Gadchiroli district that are going to be most adversely affected by it.
