Balraj Puri THE Congress(I) campaign for the removal of the Farooq government, which started seen after the elections to the Jammu and Kashmir state as- sembly in June last, continues unabated. The Congress(I) tried to create a political upheaval through an agitation and defiance of law. It tried to encourage defections in the ruling party in order to reduce it to a minority in the assembly. Finally, it tried to pres- surise the Governor to dismiss the government.
