This Debased Congress 'Culture' Romesh Thapar A MASSIVE campaign is being mounted in the national newspapers to somehow salvage the image of Indira Gandhi. It is being made out that she has been betrayed by her lieutenants at political and bureaucratic level, in the Centre and in the States. If some describe; the Cabinet changes as 'hog- wash' and call for more decisive action, it is only to perpetuate the myth that "leader' can save us.
