Accordingly, a formal circular has been issued to all employees of NABARD which quotes the ideologies of Nehru, Gandhi, Indira Canilhi and NABARD's own Chairman and lays down a prescription for dedi- cation via the institutional Theme song'- The regimen should have begun on Martyrs' Day. But as that happens to fall an a Sunday, at 11 am on the following day, January 31, the staff of NABAHD is directed to assemble in convenient groups and pay homage to Gandhiji by listening to the 'theme song'. "This song" says the circular, "is intended to remind ourselves of our faith and commitment which will build awareness and dedication to the ideals of 'Development Through Credit' and cohesion and camaraderie among all classes of our stuff". AlI NABARD offices all over the country are reputedly equipped with printed copies of the text of the 'theme song', as also cassettes of its musical rendering with necessary means of playing them.
