Business Oilcake Exports Breakthrough Unlikely

THE oilseeds trade and industry engaged in export activity have now little to complain about government policy. Almost all their major demands have been conceded. The Groundnut Extractions Export Development Asso-ciation (GEEDA) has once again been entrusted with the monitoring of ex-ports of groundnut extractions which were being canalised through the State Trading Corporation since January 1979. The export levy of Rs 125 a tonne had already been removed in February.
