"Today, the President said, a liftman and a driver had better facilities than a fanner in the rural areas, and he called upon the farmers to continue to press their demands for equal facilities as was being provided to organised employees". None of the leaders of the current farmers' agitation could have more inflammatorily set up one section of the toiling people against another section.
