be granted to Mizoram as a way out of the impasse because the Government of India's reluctance to accede to the MNF leader Laldenga's demand that the Sailo ministry should be dismissed before the MNK can follow up with the political implementation of the 'ceasefire' agreement of July 31- August 1, 1980, it still does not necessarily mean that final peace is round the corner in Mizoram. Even though the 'ceasefire' came into force nearly six months ago, the implementation of the follow-up action has been virtually impossible due to the conflicting interests among the three forces in Mizoram
