IN the Appendix to the article "India and World Economy: Search for Self-Reliance" by P Mohanan Pillai (November 1), the following statement has been made: He takes his children for a walk and they demand Cadbury's choco-late or Amul chocolate (which is manufactured under licence from a foreign company).
