INDIRA Gandhi says she is worried about corruption. I am worried about Indira Gandhi, not because corruption is taking over every aspect of life, but because she is not prepared even to nip it in the offices directly under her. The fact of the matter is that there is no desire at any political level to fight corruption. If civil servants and business representatives are being arrested for arranging leaks of official papers and notings, it is because of the escalating scandal of the Braun-Topsoe-Snampro- getti collision and the determination to prevent any other embarrassing 'leaks'. Of course, the opposite will happen. Parliament will, we hope, get at more of the muck.
