PART of the functioning of censorship during Emergency consisted of seizure of foreign newspapers and allegedly hostile to the A recent press report, while highlighting such seizures and even destruction of whole consignments of foreign newspapers and periodicals considered hostile to the regime, seems to suggest that with the lifting of Emergency, such practices have ceased.
