Bihar-Massacre of Sharecroppers

RAMANUJ ACHARYA is a Hindu priest, or mahanth, who claims he can recite the whole of Ramayana from memory. He is the head of four maths. One of these math: is in Dharampura where, on October 20, lour sharecroppers were massacred by landlords' hired gun-men. Dharampura is a hamlet in Itarhi block of Bhojpur district of Bihar.
