Dope-Peddling

Dope-Peddling WHATEVER the popular legend, things certainly happen in India. Over the past month, the bungling over Indira Gandhi's arrest, the desperate attempts to salvage the reputation of Home Minister Charan Singh (both, officially and otherwise!), the rapid exploitation of the situation by the former Prime Minister and a heap of foreign 'observers' and journalistic scribblers, the massive bungling of the opportunities opened to Indira Gandhi by the gangsters who continue at will to manipulate her, and the speedy isolation of the above-mentioned lady in the Congress parliamentary party, despite the signatures (authentic and otherwise!) in support of a requisitioned meeting of AICC members. Actually, within a fortnight of this messy phase of current politics, Indira Gandhi, and her active gaulciters, are in danger of being severely leprimanded, possibly even thrown out of the party.
