Self-Identity among Scheduled Castes- A Study of Andhra

In terms of social and economic status there are clear differences among the Scheduled Castes. There is a well-recognised hierarchy among them. No all of them are untouchable; even among those that are, there are degrees of pollution. There are also religious cleavages among the Scheduled Castes.
