FOREIGN COLLABORATION-Dim Light

September 28, 1974 THE main findings of the Reserve Bank's second survey of foreign financial collaboration in Indian industry, publish- in the June 1971 issue of the Bank's Bulletin, makes interesting reading for several reasons. The study claims to be "a census of all public and private limited companies with foreign capital participation as on March 31, 1970 and of all companies having foreign technical collaboration agreements in force on April 1, 1964. It also covers such agreements as came into force thereafter provided they had obtained government approval by March 31, 1970M. This claim, however, appears to be questionable.
