This question which is central to the historiography of any science, is particularly relevant it times when a new push seems neces- sary. Thomas Kuhn in his book, "Struc- ure of Scientific Revolutions" puts Forth a theory of scientific development based on the experience of the physical sciences, which presents very useful and interesting possibilities of application to Economics. There has been an increasing concern with the "limits'' of Economics in dealing with problems of economic development. How do we view this in terms of the historiography of Economics?
