MAHARASHTRA Vindictive Turn THE Maharashtra government and its employees, numbering over two lakhs, are once again locked in a confrontation. In a symbolic protest against the vindictive attitude of the government and its attempt to divide the employees, the state government employees staged a 48-hour 'dharna' from the evening of June 21 in front of government offices all over the state. In Bombay the 'dharna' was staged at Chowpatty, not far from the Chief Minister's residence.
