India Tobacco Diversifies

OVER the last two years, India To-bacco Company has launched an ambi-tious scheme of diversification and de-velopment of non-traditional exports. The new projects are coupled with the programme to Indianise the ownership of the company in line with government policy. In the first phase, two diversi-fication projects have been selected, namely hotels and marine products.
