Surface Signs

Surface Signs PICKING up the threads, I re-read something of what I had written several weeks ago and discovered that nothing has really changed, that we have been marking time. Yes, agitations are spreading like a rash on a variety of issues. And, we now have an "Approach" document for planning, which attempts to clarify thinking even though it provides us with hardly any new perspectives to get out of the mess we are in. The awful truth remains: we are allowing explosive crises to build up around us because we are most reluctant to be down-to-earth.
