THE Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is setting up a plant for manufacture of seamless tubes at Hyderabad. The Department has obtained a licence for exploiting the Ugine Sejournet Process in this plant for the manufacture, amongst other things, "of stainless and heat resisting steel tubes which have wide applica-tions in the chemical, fertiliser and pharmaceutical industries
